Smith ex Tutor/Lecturer from the Oldham School of Nursing would
welcome historical contributions from anyone in connection
with the original school before it amalgamated with Bury and

Amalgamation.
In
1988 Oldham first amalgamated with the Bury and Rochdale
Schools of nursing to become the West Pennine College of Health studies.
In
1994 a further amalgamation took place with Bolton and
Salford Schools and the Northern College was established. The final merger
in 1996 was with the University of Salford.
Records.
In
September of 1999 old records from the Oldham School of Nursing were taken
to the Oldham Local Interest and Archive Centre. More recent information from
after the amalgamation with Bury, Rochdale, Bolton and Salford were transferred
